Both ACT and SAT are standardised tests accepted for undergraduate admissions in the USA and elsewhere. The test scores are also considered for scholarship applications. 

The SAT exam comes with Reading, Writing and Maths sections. The Reading and Writing sections also include questions from Science - which are readiong comprehensions, so students can easily them. 

However, the core ACT test consists of Reading, Maths and English sections with optional Science and Writing sections. The questions in ACT exam are considered to be more technical for which real knowledge of the subject is required.
