However, they require a German University Entrance Qualification (HZB), which applicants can generally obtain through the German Abitur or an equivalent national qualification. There is no strict dress code for the IELTS exam. You should wear comfortable and appropriate clothes, such as t-shirt and jeans or smart casuals. It depends on your profession, your contacts and financial status either in India or abroad. Travelling seems to be cheap everywhere if you use public transport services like bus, train, etc. but if you use taxis or rented car, etc. It will be costly.
Same goes for hotels and restaurants, there are cheap and costly everywhere. It depends on your requirements and your financial status.
