Yes, IIIT Surat offers B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Some criterias for pursuing the course are given below
75% marks in 12th board examination. Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognised Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidate who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are also eligible to appear. T

INR 1,250,00 per year is the average tuition fee for all specializations of Bachelor Technology degree at Indian Institute of Information Technologies, Surat. It will take four years to complete the course. Other components, such as tuition fees, may be part of the charges. The actual amount of the charge may differ.

Here is the criteria to enrolled in the course
Candidate must have passed ME/ M.Tech/MS by Research/5 year integrated Masters/Dual Degree in relevant Engineering/2 year M.Sc from IITs (entry through JAM) with CGPA 8.0 and above. BS+MS (5 year integrated) from CFTI with the areas of specialisation required:
Machine learning, Information Security, Image Processing, VLSI & Embedded system, Computer Networking, IoT
No Entrance Test needed.

For B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Surat, students will have to give JEE Mains examination. The last cutoff rank for general was around 85 thousand. You may also decide to pursue your B.Tech in ECE with VLSI specialisation if you've reached the level of 87 thousand or more.

A master's degree in relevant field with at least 55 % marks is required to be eligible for the doctoral programme of applied physics offered by IIIT Surat. Entry tests and interviews shall also be part of the admission process. Further, the NIT Surat CSE average package offered during the 2025 placement drive stood at INR 16.73 LPA.
