In order to apply for SVNIT Surat BSc courses, a student is required to register for the JEE Main examination. The steps to apply for JEE Main are as follows:
- Visit the official JEE Main Registration NTA website jeemain.nta.ac.in
- Click on the "New Candidate Registration” option
- Fill out the registration form with the required details, and create a passport.
- Click on the "submit" button.
- The candidate will receive the JEE Main registration number and password on the registered mobile phone and email ID.
- Next, log in using the details provided and fill in the application form.
- Scan and Upload the prescribed documents

Students seeking admission to BSc courses at SVNIT Surat must have scored 75% in Class 12 and a valid JEE Main score. Further, the students would be required to appear for JoSAA counselling. It is a centralized counselling process for admissions to premier Indian institutions including all the NITs. During the JoSAA counselling the students would have to carry out various steps such as choice filling, choice locking, and partial fee payment (upon seat allocation).
