You have not so good rank in SRMJEE and it doesn't really assure you to get a free seat in SRM. Please check the records of last few years and get in touch with the college. You should apply for some other colleges also which stand on the same notes of quality education and excellent placements. A few suggestions -

You need to clear Jee Mains and then Advanced in order to get into IIT. Talking about marks, it depends on multiple factors and you can't predict that accurately. You can check out the marks for last few years and set a target. You should also look out for some best alternate universities like BITS, SRM, Lovely Professional University etc which stand on the same notes of quality education.
