It is the UG level, the college provides various courses under Aided and Self-supporting categories. Under the Aided category, the college offers BA, B.Com and B.Sc. Programme while the self-supporting category comprises of BA, B.Com (Gen), B.Com (Hons) and B.Sc Courses. At the UG level, the BCA programme is also offered by the college. Duration of all the Bachelor degree programs is three years. I believe that VIT-Vellore is better than Thapar University, but I see many people are with Thapar University, both provide quality education. But, VIT's placements are good they have tie ups mass recruiters. They have very well infrastructure and good student-faculty ratio. But, as you are expecting high salary, I think Thapar University give you better opportunity than VIT, because even VIT has high placements, their packages are low.

For PSG, you need minimum of 75% in first attempt in your class 12th boards. Good luck.

SASTRA University is better than some NITs (some NITs does not include NIT Trichy). SASTRA University has better placements and salary packages as they have many tie ups with MNCs. They also offer Industrial exposure and Internships.
The infrastructure is also good at SASTRA University.
If you are aspiring to be a good engineer with a placement in top companies and also with a good salary then SASTRA University is a good choice.
Top 5 NITs are better than SASTRA. If you don't get a good course in those top 5 NITs then SASTRA University will be the better choice.

Hi buddy, I wouldn't say better. Infrastructure, technical support, facilities, extra curricular activities, all these aspects are similar. NITs are well established, funding support for research projects are better compared to SASTRA. I would rank them equal if not NITs bit comparatively better than SASTRA. As everyone says it's in your hands and your personal ability to make use of the best facilities and infrastructure available.
