Hi,
The admission into any college in Tamil Nadu is based on the caste wise cut off marks. For that, you are advised to apply for counselling under Anna University. The admission in Anna University and its affiliated colleges is based on your caste also. Your cut off is not bad but I think you cannot get the top colleges.

You can get admission depending upon following factors:
1. If the NIT is among top 3 your chances of getting decent branches are negligible.
2. Using home state plus OBC can get you a decent branch in other NITs.

The eligibility of the 5 year integrated program at VIT is as follows –
Completed 12 years of schooling (Equivalent to 10+2 system of Indian Education) / Diploma awarded with
1. Applicants should have completed 12 years of schooling (equivalent to 10+2 system of Indian Education)
2. For admission to UG courses, applicants must have a minimum of 70% overall average.
3. For the five year integrated programme for M.Tech. Software Engineering minimum of 70% in (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) is required.
