PSG-Coimbatore is a highly reputed institution where all the courses will be worthy to study. But it also depends on your interest. Your choice of robotics and automation is really good as in the future, it will be having a good scope.

Dear Hari, SAMS college is a superb option for mechanical engineering. Since, they run marine/merchant navy courses, their lab and workshop set up are much better that are actually needed for mechanical engineering.

VIT University is known for its B.Tech programme. If you have an option, go for B.Tech in computer science over B.Sc in animation and multimedia.

Biotechnology is a branch with good scope for higher studies. Unfortunately, the placements are not at par with other branches. Most of the placement is in mass companies go with an average package of 3.5 LPA. But, VIT and SRM provide almost equal opportunities.
