The graduates must have scored 50% to 55% in their qualifying degree exam and the postgraduates have to secure at least 55% in their respective qualifying degree exam to be eligible to apply for various B.Ed entrance tests.

Admission is done through a combined entrance test conducted by the State University (Punjab/Punjabi/Guru Nanak Dev University) during the month of July every year.
