CTET 1-8 is divided into two parts:
1. CTET primary 1-5
2. CTET upper primary 6-8
For clearing CTET you have to study languages (Hindi, English), Maths, Pedagogy, Environment for Primary Level and Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi, English), Maths & Science (for Science stream), Social Science (for art stream).

You can get a lecturer job without net cleared. If you crack NET or SET exam, u will be given good salary as compared to those who don't have cracked net or set exam. If you want to clear this exam, you can watch videos related with net exam paper 1 and paper 2  for paper 1 and paper 2, study for paper 1 (general awareness, reasoning, maths, people and environment), Commerce net a achievers for paper 1 (research aptitude, teaching aptitude, ICT, Higher Education)etc. . I would like to suggest you to watch videos as these videos will provide you short notes with vast information. I hope this will help you. Thank you.

Yes, you have to attend the classes because attendance is compulsory. You should have 75 percentage attendance to sit in the exams.
