OTET 2018 eligibility criteria for categories A and B is as mentioned below:
OTET Eligibility Criteria for Category-A (Paper-I)
Candidates fulfilling any one of the below-mentioned parameters meet OTET 2018 eligibility criteria for Category-A (Paper-I):Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should possess a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT). Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should possess a two-year Diploma in Special Education. Candidates should clear graduation in any stream. Also, candidates should possess a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education /Special Education. OTET Eligibility Criteria for Category-B (Paper-II)
Candidates fulfilling either of the below-mentioned parameters meet OTET 2018 eligibility criteria for Category-B (Paper-II): Candidates should clear graduation with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) marks. Also, candidates should pass a one-year course in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Candidates should clear graduation with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) marks. Also, candidates should pass a one-year course in B.Ed (Special Education). Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should pass a four-year BA Ed/ B.Sc Ed course. Note: All candidates meeting eligibility criteria to apply under Category-B (Paper-II) are not eligible to apply under Category-A (Paper-I). Also, all untrained candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD category securing at least 45% marks in Class XII/ graduation are also eligible to apply for OTET 2018 exam. This is only to provide better opportunities to SC, ST, and PH candidates and this does not give them any entitlement for engagement, informs the official website.

The UGC NET exam is conducted for the lectureship in the university and the JRF award. The candidates who wants to apply for the NET exam must fulfill the eligibility as follows:
Educational:
The candidates must have the post-graduation degree from the recognized university with more than 55% marks. The final year candidates in post-graduation also eligible to appear in UGC NET however the candidates will be given the certificate after successful completion of the post-graduation. Age limit:
The Age of the candidates must be below 30 years for the UGC NET JRF while there is no age limit for the lectureship.

Hello Divyanshi, UGC NET is a national level exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency for those candidates who want to become assistant professor or researcher. The candidates who are in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed their post-graduation, should have minimum 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognised institute to appear for the exam.
