Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. You need to fulfill any one of the above-mentioned CTET eligibility criteria to give the exam. The min. age to apply for this course is 18.

UGC NET exam is conducted in more than 80 subjects. Tourism is one of the subjects included in NET exam for the candidates aspiring to make a career in the lectureship and research programme. NET exam is basically conducted in the month of June and December. As NET exam is conducted in two phases- UGC NET Paper 1 (https://somisharmablog.wordpress.com/2018/07/18/ugc-net-general-paper-research-and-teaching-aptitude-test/and Paper 2, you need to prepare for both the exams on an equal basis.
To make a career in travel and tourism, you need to complete masters in tourism. The eligibility criteria to appear in the UGC NET exam is as follows - you must have 55% marks in masters (for reserved and female, 50% marks).
