A candidate seeking admissions for D. El. Ed course must pass the HSC / Equivalent Examination with at least 50% marks for open categories and 45% marks for back ward class Categories. (Passed in class 12th with Arts / Commerce / Science). Grace Marks Concession:
Sports - If a student has participated in any sport at a state or National level, he or she will be awarded 3 Grace Marks for admission purpose. Drawing - Students having Intermediate Examination passing certificate will get 3 grace marks for admission purpose. Music - Students having Visharad or Alankar Examination passed from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya will get 3 marks for admissions. Reservation according to Faculty
Students passing from-
Science faculty - 50% seats of total intake are reserved. Arts Faculty - 40% seats of the total intake are reserved

Norms of Passing D. El. Ed Examination
To pass the examination candidate must obtain at least 50% marks in each head of passing an examination and must obtain minimum 'B' grade in each part in the examination in the internal assessment. Final Evaluation - only those student-teachers who get the principals certificate for satisfactory performance in theory and practical activity shall be added in the final evaluation.

TET/CTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper - 1:
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed). or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
TET/CTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper - 2:
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
