Hello, Surely you are eligible for the NET Exam if you have completed your Post graduation. If you are preparing for lectureship so age limit criteria is not the mandatory. But in JRF age limit is mandatory (maximum 30 years for General and maximum 35 years for OBC/ST/SC/PWD), so work harder to qualifying the NET Exam. UGC NET is a national level entrance exam through which candidates are awarded for Junior Research Fellowship and for the lectureship. Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the UGC NET Examination on behalf of UGC. Recently the Board has announced the notification for conducting UGC NET 2018 Exam. http://www.gujaratuniversity.ac.in fill the application form and register yourself. After doing the same you can go and submit your documents in the University and apply for the same.

Having an appropriate degree:
- Teaching requires different levels of degree depending upon the level of middle or high school teaching. Primary school teaching requires Ted. Basic eligibility for a candidate to pursue M.Ed from Maharshi Dayanand University is that individual should have minimum 50% pass marks in graduation. Candidate must have completed B.Ed. or any other examination from a recognized University.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Masters degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. It may be noted minimum percentage required to meet UGC NET eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD categories is 50%.
