If not engineering then you can opt for B.Sc. In subjects of your interest like Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Maths, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc. BCA B.Sc/LLB, BBS, BMS, etc., are some other options.

After clearing the NET exam without a Ph.D, you can become an assistant professor, not a professor. If you have a good work experience like 8-15 years experience in the teaching field, you can become an associate professor.

If you have completed your post graduation in Commerce, Arts or humanities stream, you are eligible to appear for NET exam.

The age limit is 28 years to apply for the same.
