B.Ed course in distance education is a flexible mode for those who want to get prepare for teaching role. Those who have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the course. In some of the institutes, it is compulsory for the students to have at least 45% marks for taking admission to this course. At least two years of work experience is also essential for one to join a reputed distance learning institute. The course offered is a perfect blend of theory and practical form of education.

To be eligible to become a lecturer you need to have atleast a master's degree in any relevant subject with atleast 55% .You need to appear for CBSE-NET exam.

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is a test to determine eligibility for college and university level lecItureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. It aims to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in teaching professions and research.

Yes, you are eligible. Many of the private/public schools have also made CTET certificate compulsory as the eligibility criteria for the selection as a teacher.

The minimum level of education required for a college professor is a Master's degree.
