To become a secondary school teacher, most states require potential candidates to hold a Bachelors degree some may require a Masters.

BTC is equal to Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and not B.El.Ed. Bachelors in Elementary Education is a integrated course of BA + B.Ed (4 years).
