Dear,
Since 2015, the duration of B.Ed programme is 2-years and the universities or institutes that offer you 1-year B.Ed programme are not recognised.
You can go for a biology related subject in Bachelors degree like life Science, zoology or B.Sc programme and then go for B.Ed programme
You can check this link to find out some recognized institutes under NCTE.

All the best.

There is so difference in the course structure, only the format of classes would be different and of course you would not get internship exposure in the distance program.

Hi,

Below mentioned are the 3 ways to reach your target:

  1. B.el.ed program, which you can pursue after completing class 12th. The course duration is 4 years, and then you can go for M.Ed program.
  2. After your Bachelor's degree in particular domain, you can pursue B.Ed + M.Ed program and start teaching in a school.
  3. After your Bachelor's + Master's degree, you can go for NET exam or Ph.D program, then start lecturership in college level.

All the best.

B.Sc mathematics has a good scope in future. If you are good with mathematics, then you will able to teach mathematics. Now a days, mathematics is used in software developing and computer science and technology and its applications.
