Obtaining admission to SASTRA University, Thanjavur, with a 70 percentile in JEE Mains may be difficult, particularly for in-demand fields like computer Science or electronics. SASTRA uses a special 70:30 ratio for admissions, taking into account both JEE Main results and 12th board exam grades. Depending on the level of competition that year, you might still have a chance in other engineering streams even though the percentile may not ensure a spot in the top branches. It's best to apply as soon as possible and look into additional choices inside the university's admissions procedure.

The BA admissions at PMU are entirely based on the merit in Class 12. Candidates just have to qualify for the BA eligibility criteria and directly apply through the university's official website. A candidate who has passed Class 12 from a recognised board is eligible to apply for the admission. The admission process includes three simple steps: online registration, selection of students, and final admission. There is no entrance exam required for admission to BA at PMU. Therefore, getting admission into PMU for BA course is not very hard.
