The University of Sydney has a ranking between 38 - 42 by QS (Top Universities) in QS World University Ranking in the last five years. US News & World Report has also ranked it at 27th position for 2019-2021 and 28th for 2022 and 2023 in its global universities ranking. Another major ranking publisher THE (Times Higher Education) has ranked Sydney University at 54th position in 2023 in its best universities ranking.

Hello Dear, It is not an issue, if you Masters from a foreign university. But, before applying for UGC, you have to ensure that you have a Master's degree not a PG Diploma. So, you are definitely eligible.
