TISS will set up a minimum qualifying cutoff for the computer-based test. The qualifying cutoff for SC/ ST category is 35% and for the General/ OBC, it is 45%. In addition, just securing the qualifying cutoff will not guarantee a seat for the course in TISS. The admission will be purely based on the merit list.

TISSNET 2024 first merit list for admission to M.A. Programme is announced soon after the Online Assessment round are conducted. The first merit list is expected to release in third week of May 2024 at admissions.tiss.edu. Candidates who will appear for the TISS selection process will be able to check their admission status in the merit list. Candidates must note that appearing for the TISS Online Assessment rounds does not guarantee seats to the candidates at the TISS campus. The TISS Online Assessment round is divided into two stages: Extempore reflection and Personal Interview. The Online Assessment will be conducted for 20-30 minutes. In the Extempore round of the TISS Online Assessment, candidates will be asked to present a reflection on a given topic in front of the three panel members.
