Tiss offers B.VOC in renewable energy in only maharashtra (Tuljapur).and hostel room is also available there.But the admission process is longer and harder .the admission process going through some steps, like interview and exams and the academic marks . rest of the details are mentioned in the website of TISS for better knowledge you can reach out their

TISS Mumbai accept the 12th standard certificate from Maharashtra HSC for admissions into various programs but you need complete a bachelor's degree and it is mandatory

so, Maharashtra HSC qualification is recognised, but they does not provide traditional MBA courses .it provies Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, which is comparable in MBA HR

TISS has its own exam called TISSNET, for admissions However starting for 2025-26 academic year they will consider Common Admission Test (CAT)

Programs Accepting CAT Scores:

MA in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR)

MA in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership

Master of Hospital Administration

For these programs they will consider

Cat score 70%

graduation 10%

online interview 20%

If YOu get the above scores, then you are eligible for the course.

Admission to the BVoc in Medical Imaging Technology at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed Class 12th in a relevant stream from a reputed board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

For admissions into TISS, for the upcoming academic year 2025-26, the candidates need to apply online through the SSE Application Platform. The fee is INR 200 for applying to a single program. Please note that the documents are verified in online mode only.

No, TISS is the name of University i.e., Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The exam conducted for the admission to the postgraduate programmes is called TISSNET. EPGDODC is a 14-months programme which is equivalent to the MBA programme at TISS. TISSNET (TISS National Entrance Test) is a university level entrance exam conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences for admission to PG programme. Candidates must prepare according to the TISSNET syllabus and study according to the TISSNET Pattern.

Candidates must take the TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET), a required entrance exam for all MA programs, in order to be admitted to the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) MA program. Shortlisted candidates receive invitations to the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds after meeting TISSNET qualification requirements. Having a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for reserved categories) is a requirement for eligibility. To be admitted to the intended MA programme at TISS, applicants must successfully complete these steps.

To be eligible for MBA programme at TISS Mumbai, applicants must have at least three years of work experience after graduation and hold a recognised Bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years duration or its equivalent, obtained through various study patterns, fulfilling the mandatory 15 years of formal education requirement. CUET PG is the valid entrance exam drawn by the college for admission to MBA courses. However CAT is also another valid entrance exam for admission to MBA programmes. Candidates must make sure to check the eligibility criteria for the MBA prorgaramme at TISS Mumbai before applying for the course.

The straightforward answer to your question is - No, a minor name discrepancy will not lead to cancellation of your admission. Don't worry, a minor discrepancy in name will not lead to the cancellation of admission in TISS, Mumbai. Provided that there is a slight difference in the spelling only. So, the official must consider your issue and allow you to proceed further with your admission process. 

They may ask you to sign an undertaking certificate stating your issue and stating that you take the full responsibility for the same.
