UID Design Aptitude Test

To fill application form for UID DAT B.Des, candidate should have passed Class 12 in any stream or should have a 3year Diploma equivalent to 10+2 from any recognised university.

UID DAT 2026 will be conducted online. The exam will be conducted in two tiers, Tier 1 and Tier 2. The weightage of Tier 1 is 40% and Tier 2 is 60%.

The UID DAT weightage for each stage are as follows:

• Tier I (DAT): 40%

• Tier II – Situation Test: 30%

• Tier II – Portfolio/Interview: 30%

UID DAT Tier I is a 100? marks online test (3 hours) comprising sections on General IQ, Critical Analysis, and Creative Ability. Tier II includes a Situation Test, Portfolio Evaluation, and, for PG, a Personal Interview.
