It will be difficult to choose between two, they are almost equally good. You can compare the research activities and career support of each. McGill university overall has higher ranking than Alberta.

Generally, they require a CGPA of 3 out of 4 scale which is B grade which is again around 75 to 80%. You have to check the program specific entry criteria on the website.

You have to check if the particular program has a January intake. Typically most of the programmes only have September intake. You can check here:
