The University of Glasgow will consider students with CBSE or Metro State Board qualifications for UG programs. The normal minimum requirement is 75% average, including 5the 75% in key subjects. For Postgraduate programs, international students must have an Upper Second Class honors degree (2:1). Along with this, international students must fulfill the below English language requirements:

All the three universities such as University of Glasgow, University of Leeds and University of Manchester rank within the 51-100 bracket for law aacording to QS ranking. While specific rankings may vary but they all offer a good and reputable programs. Choosing among them would total depend on the studnets prefernces such as Jobs, faculty, location and many more. The University of Glasgow ranking in the UK is in the Top 15 universities according to The Guardian rankings. According to it, the university has been placed at #13 position in 2024. Whereas, according to the Complete University Guide 2024 rankings, the university has been placed at #26 position. In both the rankings of the UK, there has been a slight decline in the rankings as compared to the previous year. However, the University of Glasgow is one of the Top 30 Universities in the UK to study.

In the 2024 QS World University Rankings, the University of Glasgow rose to five places and got placed at #76 position. As specified by the university, this ranking means that the university is now ranked among the top 5% of the institutions globally. Also, note more than 20 of the university’s subjects were also ranked in the world’s Top 100. The courses include History, Philosophy, English Language & Literature, Accounting & Finance, Communication & Media Studies, Law, Sociology, etc.

The University of Glasgow has a number of International Excellence Scholarships available to new international students for 2024 entry. This scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee discount of £7,000 per year of study and is subject to satisfactory progress for consecutive years of study. Also, note that students need not apply for this scholarship separately and the applicants holding offers will be automatically assessed. To be eligible, students have to:
