No, the University of Gothenburg is not free to most of the international students. Students of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland end up paying admission fees and tuition fees to attend undergraduate and graduate studies. The Swedish PhD programs, however are normally tuition fee free to all international students irrespective of their country of origin. At the University of Gothenburg, the size of the tuition fees depends on the programme and may vary considerably.

The applicants who meet the University of Gothenburg MSc in Management entry requirements are divided into two groups. Group 1 applicants are allocated all places and if any place is left, then they are distributed to applicants in Group 2.
