If we talk about the University of Houston world ranking, then in the QS World University Rankings 2026, UH ranks at #556 position. Its position in the QS rankings has increased in 2025 as it was placed at #651. In the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025, it has been placed at #401 position

It has been placed at #182 position for 2023. Although, its position has declined by some spots as compared to 2022, it has still managed to lie in the top 200 U.S. universities. In 2022, UH was placed at #179 position. Houston University application fee for international students applying for undergraduate courses is USD 90 (INR 7,502). Whereas, the application fee for international students applying for postgraduate courses is USD 80 (INR 6,668).
