Yes, the University of Houston is a decent university to study Computer Science. In the U.S. News & World Report best graduate schools category, the UH ranks at #110 position for the Computer Science program. So, to get admission to the MS in Computer Science program, students must apply with a well-crafted application. The Houston Uni's scholarship opportunities are available for international students based on their criteria but students are considered for these awards only after they complete their application for admission and submit all the supporting documents by the deadline and one such scholarship is the Academic Excellence Scholarship for which the award amount ranges between INR 82,986 - 4,97,916 per year (renewable up to four years).

 Yes, it is necessary to submit English Proficiency scores. In order for an application to be taken into account and processed, international students must submit the results of their English language proficiency exam. The university will not accept late submissions of these results. These submitted results must be provided to the institution by the testing agency/company exclusively and cannot be older than two years from the date of the exam.
