The Houston Uni's scholarship opportunities are available for international students based on their criteria but students are considered for these awards only after they complete their application for admission and submit all the supporting documents by the deadline and one such scholarship is the Academic Excellence Scholarship for which the award amount ranges between INR 82,986 - 4,97,916 per year (renewable up to four years).

The entry requirements are as followed:
Graduation- CGPA - 3/4
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and extensive background in Computer Science with a 3.0 GPA
Preparatory requirements include proficiency in at least one object-oriented computer programming language, such as Java, C# or C+ plus the completion of the following undergraduate courses, their equivalents or successful completion of equivalence exams upon approval from the admissions committee.
