The Complete University Guide rankings assess the Universities in the UK on a variety of parameters that can be considered crucial when selecting a university. According to the ranking data published by this ranking body, University of Manchester ranks at #22 among the best universities in the world which is a decline in the rankings from the previous year 2024, as it was #19. For the Business and Management studies in the UK category, these rankings are getting better from the year 2023.

Financial Times Ranking is one of the dependable rankings when talking of MBA or Business Schools rankings. This ranking body has been publishing rankings for the Business and Management programs since 1999. For GMBA, Financial Times (FT) ranks #46 in the year 2024 which is constant from the year 2023, but an improvement from the year 2022.

QS World University Rankings are one of the most comprehensive rankings that have offered World University Rankings since 2004. For the year 2025, University of Manchester QS ranking is #34 in the 'World University' category which is a decline of 2 spots from the last year as the ranking for 2024 was #32. The rankings for this university have been declining since the year 2023 in the 'World University' category. For 'Europe' category, these rankings have improved from #8 in 2024 to #7 in the year 2025.

The creation of these rankings is done to know and evaluate the university's performance on the global stage and provide a comprehensive ranking report for the students to make an informed higher education decision.
For the year 2025, University of Manchester is ranked at #53 which is a decline of 2 spots, from the last year ranking of #51. These rankings for this university are fluctuating since 2023: from rank #54 in 2023 to #51 in 2024 to #53 in 2025.
