The acceptance rate for UNSW is 60% although it might vary to different courses. In the QS World University Rankings (2023), UNSW Sydney is ranked 45th. This research institution was placed 70th in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (2023). The low acceptance rate is most likely due to the University of New South Wales' outstanding academic rankings and distinguished academic programmes.
