  • Create a C@MPUS basis account to start the application process
  • Fill in the required information and submit the necessary documents
  • Wait for an e-mail notice from the University of Stuttgart

It may be difficult for international students to get admission at Stuttgart Germany because of its moderately high acceptance rate. The acceptance rate of Uni of Stuttgart is around 48%, which means out of 100 applications only 48 get offer. Indian students must have a good academic record and meet the entire admission requirement to get entry.

No, the University of Stuttgart is not tuition-free for international students. They are required to pay EUR 1,500 per semester. The tuition fee for international students who want to opt for a second degree is required to pay EUR 650. Apart from the tuition fee, students are required to pay the living expenses. Stuttgart University offers on-campus housing to both domestic and international students. They have dormitories in the Stuttgart-Vaihingen campus, which is a 20-minute ride via commuter train to the downtown campus. Student dormitories cost EUR 300 per month and EUR 400 is taken as a deposit. Some of the major features of the dormitories are:

  • All single bedrooms have a sink, bookshelf, closet or wardrobe, chair, bed, and table. 
  • Every floor has a common kitchen.
  • No dishes are available (students need to arrange this).
  • Shared showers and toilets on each floor.
  • Coverlets and bed linen are available for purchase at the office at EUR 45.
