The QS rankings for 2027 are out. As per that, the University of Stuttgart ranking in QS world rankings is #318 in 2027. In Times Higher Education rankings, this university ranks at #251-300 in 2026. In other world rankings, Stuttgart University ranking is #633 in 2026.

International students in Germany may need a Blocked account to study in the Uni of Stuttgart. Once settled in Germany, students have limited access to their funds in the blocked account. International students in Germany are required to transfer at least Euros 11,904 (Around INR 13 lakh). It is mandatory to have an opened bank account in Germany.

Non-EU students at the Uni of Stuttgart with a residence permit can work up to 20 hours per week. They can work 140 full days or 280 half days per calendar year. Note that working days of less than 4 hours are counted as half days.

Submission of APS certificate is a mandatory requirement for Stuttgart Uni students. Non-EU students can apply to this university through the Campus Management System. There is no application fee for Stuttgart Uni.
