The University of the West of Scotland does not publish the placement rates specifically. Although, as per an unofficial source, the UWS placement rate is 78%.
This means that this is a moderately selective university to get into. It should also be noted that UK and EU students tend to see higher acceptance rates compared to the Indian applicants.

Indian students of the University of Western Sydney are automatically considered for International UAC Scholarship. No separate application is required for WSU International UAC scholarship. It is granted on the basis of merit and the value is around AUD 10,000 (Around INR 6.5 lakh)

WSU aspirants should note that their applications will not be accepted if the following fields are left blank-
- Student's email
- Phone number
- Copy of photo page of passport
- Program code
- Date of intake
- Campus of choice
- Academic record (documents must be certified and stamped)
- Signature from guardian if under 18

WSU only considers scores for IELTS Academic, TOEFL and PTE. This includes 6.5 for IELTS with a minimum of 6.0 in each band, 82 for TOEFL iBT (Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13) and 58 for PTE Academic. There might be a few exceptions however so check the programme specific requirements for the same

WSU suggests the following things to keep in mind before submitting a personal statement at WSU-
- Length can be upto the student
- Must include how scholarship will assist you in your studies and further career
- must explain how your background and current circumstances
- must use examples to support your achievements

- personal statement
- qualifications (year 12 school report or other certificate results)
- proof of citizenship

The cost of attending UWS ( University of the West of Scotland) can vary depending on the main factors, such as course level of study (UG and PG). However, International students considering this university could be a little higher than compared to UK citizens. The UG programme Academic tuition fee for international students is around ( INR 14 L - 17 L) per annum, depending on the course. It's (INR 16 L) for PG programs.
