Regardless of your category, the CRL is a ranking determined by how well you did on the entrance exam. The UPTAC website displays the category rank when you filter by category (e.g., BC Girl). This indicates that the rank does not represent your overall ranking among all candidates, but rather your place within your particular category (in this case, BC).

To be eligible for admission to BArch course via UPTAC counselling, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination and obtained at least 50 percent marks in total in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50 percent marks in class 12 examination.

Passed 10+3 Diploma and obtained at least 50 percent marks in total.

The UPTAC counselling eligibility criteria for BTech & M.Tech (Integrated) course is:
Passed 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the subjects taken together.
OR
Passed D.Voc stream in the same or allied sector.
