To apply for an USA visa, you first need to get a Form I-20 from your college. It is strongly advised that you pay the SEVIS fee before you start the US visa application process.
Once the SEVIS cost has been paid and a receipt has been obtained, you can complete a DS-160 visa application through an online application form. The cost of Visa applications are USD 185, which is equivalent to INR 15,343.9.

You must schedule an interview with the American Embassy or Consulate in your nation. Because the wait times for interview appointments vary by location, season, and visa type, you should apply for your visa as soon as possible.

All Indian students are given the option by the US government to study there, but you must first apply for a student visa. Your age and the kind of education you want to undertake in the US will determine the sort of visa you require. You must apply to and be accepted by a US college or university that is approved by the Student and Exchange Visitor Programme (SEVP) as the first stage. Once accepted, the international student office at the school will provide you a Form I-20, which is a paper copy of the data contained in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) database. To study in USA, Indian students need to have a valid USA student visa. Your visa process starts when you receive the I-20 Form from your college/university. Also, you should pay the SEVIS I-901 fee before you start your US visa application. After paying the SEVIS fee, you need to apply to DS-160 visa form.
