Documents required to apply for an F1 student visa:
- A Form I 20 is issued by the university via email.
- Once the form is received, applicant need to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee which is paid to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).
- A copy of a valid passport
- Bank statement
- A complete affidavit of support for all sponsors

To get to study at SUNY Maritime College, students need to apply for an F1 Visa. Pre-requisites for F1 Visa is as follows:
- College acceptance letter.
- An I 20 form, issued by the college which confirms that you are accepted in a specific academic program. After getting the I 20 form, student can then make an appointment for a visa with his local U.S. embassy or consulate office. Pay the SEVIS fee by completing I 901 form. Printed receipt of the form is also required.

- Official Academic Transcript from Okanagan College
