WBJEE JELET

There is no fee to make changes through the WBJEE JELET application form correction facility. However, the candidates may have to pay the fee difference if they make changes to their submitted category. This will be applicable since the WBJEE JELET application fee varies for different categories. Since the application fee is higher for the General category, the required fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. However, if the candidates are changing their category from general to reserved, then the fee difference will not be refunded by the authorities.

During the WBJEE JELET application correction process, the candidates will be able to edit/correct their details that have been submitted before. However, the candidates will not be able to correct all details present in the WBJEE JELET application form. Primary details of the candidates such as their name, father's name, mother's name, gender and date of birth cannot be edited/corrected using the JELET application correction facility, therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while providing their details.

WBJEE JELET 2025 application form correction facility was open from September 19 to 20, 2025. Registered candidates were able to access the correction facility to edit/correct the details submitted in the JELET application form. However, not all details were open for corrections. The authorities did not accept correction requests after the final date. Since it was a one-time facility, the candidates were advised to carefully check their details and submit them. 

While filling out the WBJEE JELET application form, the candidates will have to upload their scanned documents i.e., photograph and signature. The scanned photograph has to be taken in a light background and should be of high quality. The face of the candidate should occupy 50% of the photograph and the size should be between 3KB to 100KB. The dimension of the photograph should be 4cm x 3cm. The candidate's signature should be scanned in the size between 3KB to 30KB and the dimension should be 4cm x 1.5cm. Both the documents should be in JPG/JPEG format.

While attempting the JELET paper, the candidates will also have to answer questions based on Fundamentals of Electrical & Electronics Engineering section. The units of Fundamentals of Electrical & Electronics Engineering section that the candidates will have to study are - DC sources and circuits, Analog Circuits, Transformers, Basic semiconductor devices, Electrical components, measuring instruments, Digital Electronics, Electrical machines and AC sources and circuits. All of the units should be carefully studied to be well prepared for the examination.

Candidates will have to prepare various units on WBJEE JELET Mathematics section for the examination. Some of the important units to be studied for the exam are - Matrices up to order 3, Application of Derivative, Determinant up to order 3, Partial Differentiation, Complex Number, Co-ordinate Geometry (2D), Vector Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equation, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Probability. To be well prepared for the exam, the candidates are advised to carefully check and study the WBJEE JELET syllabus.

According to the official JELET Chemistry syllabus, the candidates will have to study various important units related to the subject. Some of the important units that the candidates will have to prepare for the JELET Chemistry section are - Acids, Bases & Salts, Oxidation, Reduction, Electrochemistry, Atomic Structure, Metallurgy, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Equilibrium, Water and Organic Chemistry. Candidates are advised to study the topics mentioned in the official JELET syllabus so that they are able to perform well in the exam.

According to the JELET syllabus, the candidates will have to study various units of Physics to be well prepared for the examination. Some of the units that the candidates will have to prepare from the JELET Physics section are - Units, dimensions, and measurement, Work, power, energy, Elasticity, Thermal expansion of solid, Laws of motion, Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Gravitation, Surface tension, Photoelectricity, Fluid mechanics/ Hydrostatics, Lens, Transmission of heat, Reflection of Light and Refraction of light.

It is important for the candidates to know which subjects, topics and units have to be studied for the entrance examination. By knowing the syllabus beforehand, the candidates will be able to prepare and plan out their studies to perform well in the examination. Candidates also identify important topics which bear higher weightage and are likely to be present in the question paper, to boost their preparation.
