Yes gargi, you can apply through XAT score to take admission in MITSOM. You have to go through CAP rounds of counseling done by DTE Maharashtra. 1. Fill the form for CAP rounds on www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in 2. Provide the college option as MITSOM 3. Follow procedure by DTE. Cut off XAT goes above 90. For any other clarification you can contact me.

The general cut off is between 80 - 85 percentile. I would suggest that you use score for other exams (MH CET, CMAT, etc) in which you've better score. If you don't, you can still apply with this score, and keep your options open for other PGDM courses (Retail, E-Biz, Health Care Management, Rural Management, etc) too.

When XLRI ask to submit the marksheet, then you should submit all the marksheets which prove that you have passed the course. So, the backlog sheets are not necessary.

With hard work, dedication and systematic approach to your studies you can leave no stone upturned.Coaching manuals may be available in leading bookstalls. But you can still become more familiar and confident with the pattern of questions when you seek coaching assistance. Postal coaching assistance may be available with some institutes.

No preference is given to any exam. It selection is purely based on merit and your performance in the GD-Pi. Entrance exam scores are just to establish an eligibilty criteria and have less weightage compared to the GD-PI when it comes to final selection.
