Both are undergraduate courses of 3-year duration and offer in-depth knowledge in the fields of Biology, Botany, Zoology etc. Although these two courses are similar, there are differences between them in terms of the syllabus and the course curriculum. Some of the basic differences between BSc Zoology and B.Sc. Biology programs are provided in the table given below:

Biotechnology is about applications of Biology with some Physics and Chemistry to develop biological techniques in the real world. Chemistry is about applications of Physics and mathematics in Chemistry to develop both theoretical and experimental methods to improve/create the desired products. Zoology is about the study of diverse animals (all) of diverse environments. It requires knowledge from botany and basic Chemistry and Physics.
