No, the university does not offer direct admission. MDU Rohtak admission to a lot of courses is done through entrance exams. The university conducts an entrance exam to shortlist candidates for MA, MBA, LLM, etc. However, for a few non-centralised courses, admission is merit-based. Thus, for these courses, the candidate's scores in the last qualifying examination are considered for selection. The eligibility for the admission in B.Ed is minimum to have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks for a general candidate, whereas 47.5% is required in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates. The good thing is, candidates who don't have 50% marks in their graduation degree, can also pursue B.Ed course after completing their master degree - however, the requirement is again 50% marks in graduation.

The candidates should also clear one of the top B.Ed entrance exams meant for their chosen college.
