It is the best college in UP state.

Placements: Almost 60% of students are placed in my course in recent years. The highest package is 8.6 LPA, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The top recruiter is Wipro. About 60% of students get internships. Skill development plays a key role.

Infrastructure: We have proper Wi-Fi, proper labs, and classrooms that are fully centralized with ACs. The library is full of helpful books. The hostel facility is very good. We have 3 sports grounds for different games. Medical facilities are very good, as students get help when needed.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified from top institutions like IIT, NIT, etc. They provide high-quality education. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready with high skills. Exams are mid to hard.

Other: I choose this course because I want to get a job in the IT sector. This course makes students industry-ready. The best things are skill development classes, excellent faculty, and the best teachers. Timings of the course should be decreased to 7 hours rather than 8. Events and fests are organized on different topics, like sports events, hackathons, cultural fests, study tours, etc. The scholarship scheme is excellent, as students get 60% of their total fees back.

University of Allahabad, B.Voc in media production review a fabulous journey.

Placements: The admissions for B.Voc. media production in the year 2024 was 50+ students. It is a professional course that requires 30,000 per semester. The highest package offered in my batch is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are Aaj Tak, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Amar Ujala, Door Darshan, DD National, etc.

Infrastructure: University of Allahabad is known for its momentous buildings. When we talk about the center of media studies, the buildings are average. But the department is so beautiful and has a separate stage library. It has a Wi-Fi media research cell, photography lab, videography, lab, and many other things. It has a beautiful infrastructure. Hostels are good enough and they have good medical facilities. Sports and games are played very well and competitions are organised to keep the spirit high of the students. If someone is suffering from any disease they take the pain and help the students.

Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful to their students. The teaching qualities are tremendous and perfect. The curriculum is relevant and helps in this industry because B.Voc media production provides practical practice of media, which helps the student in their placements. Semester exams are not that tough. If you have studied enough and well in your classes because teachers teach very nicely. They give the same questions and the same concepts they have taught in the class so passing with more than 60% is considered to be good and first division in University of Allahabad. Teachers are also very nice.

Other: I chose this course, because I wanted to learn new skills, technical features, and practical aspects of media. I did not want to be a bookworm because being in media is being smart, skillful, and practically good. Many workshops visits, and different clubs are made to increase the practical experience of the students. Campus crowd is a lot, but campus is so big that you can wonder anywhere. Surroundings are beautiful. Scholarships are provided and extracurricular activities are fabulous.

The college campus is very good.

Placements: The placements of this college are not good. No companies recruit here to offer placement opportunities. The highest salary package offered here is 7 LPA and minimum is 2 LPA. Placements record is very poor. No internships are offered by the college. In our batch, there are 30 students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good. There are 2 cricket grounds, 1 football ground, 1 basketball ground, 1 hockey ground, 1 handball ground and many other grounds available. There are very less amount of fest held by the University. The quality of the hostel is good, there are 15 hostels in the college.

Faculty: The faculty members were good. They are very supportive and hardworking. They encourage the students to study and motivate them for their future. They provide guidance tools for the students’ better future. The semester exams were tough and the passing ratio is very low. About 30 percent of the students were facing backlogs in the exams.

Media Studies in University of Allahabad.

Placements: There is not any on campus placement in the college but you surely get recommended by college professor to multiple media houses. Internships programs are offered by various publishing media houses. You can apply offcampus placement for several roles.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are big and accomodated with Air Conditioning. Colleges three labs ( Photography, Computer, Video Editing ) Labs. You have access to main central library of the university. Hostel has good architecture but the room has less space. The food of a mess is okay.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, supportive and knowledgeable, and are always ready to help you and most of the time they explain you various topics practically. Various gears are available like Camera for enhancing your photography skills Semester Exams level was moderate.

Other: I had a keen interest in Media Studies and in photography, so I chose this course. You will get to know about several things about media. College do not offer its own scholarship but it offer state government scholarship. Campus Surrounding is quite good and has good connectivity.

Infrastructure of college is very good.

Placements: The college's placement record is not very satisfactory as only a few companies visit here to offer job opportunities. The highest salary package offered here is 10 LPA but I am not sure about the minimum salary package. Yet the university provides good internship opportunities as many companies come here to offer internships.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure and amenities. The campus provides free Wi Fi and well equipped laboratories. The university organizes a festival called Udaan every semester. The hostel facilities are of good quality and the mess service is awesome. Medical facilities are also provided for all students.

Faculty: There are faculty members in this college who are excellent at their job, but some of the permanent professors are not as good. Despite being highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees, their teaching quality is not up to the mark as they only focus on completing the syllabus. The semester exams are average and the pass percentage is also average.

Placements: Around 30% of students get placed. The average salary package is 2 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Qtv, Etv, Etv Bharat, and All India radio. All the students got internships through recommendation letters granted by the college in various media houses. The top roles offered are reporter, video editor, InDesign operator, video maker, audio editor, cameraman, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Everything is available. There is Wi-Fi, well-maintained media labs, and studio for editing and photography, and own media research cell. Center media studies have a library that is different from the central library with all the books related to the field of media. Hostel is available. Food offered in the hostel is good. There is no canteen. Sports are run by the different departments that are sports boards situated in the center. They organise sports events every year. Medical facilities are available in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are well trained and well experienced. All are Ph.D. holders. They explain better and prepare every student for market-ready and industry-ready. Semester exams are not hard as students who focus on study can score at least 8 CGPA.

Other: I choose this course because I want to make my career in the field of media. The best about this course is its a vocational course that provides more opportunities for jobs because this course is based on practical work not theory. There have a lot of media events organised by the center and outside. It is situated in the middle of the city. Students come for study and entertainment. Scholarship scheme is not provided. Students can apply for central or state government scholarships.
