AAFT University of Media and Arts BA admission is based on candidates performance in the university-based admission test AAFT Global Exam followed by the PI round. Candidates must first qualify for the BA eligibility criteria, i.e., twelve years of school education from a recognised board. After submitting the application form, the admission officials conduct the AAFT GEE in online mode. The test is followed by the personal interview round. 

AAFT University conducts an online aptitude test also known as AAFT Global Exam. AAFT BA admission is subject to a valid score in the AAFT Global Exam followed by a personal interview from the AAFT Expert Desk. However, candidates must first qualify for the course-wise eligibility criteria as per admission guidelines issued by the AAFT University. The BA courses offered are BA in Cinema,  BA in Fine Arts, BA in Journalism & Mass Communication,  BA in Event Management, etc.

 BA in cinema from AAFT University is a three year programme designed to enable students to 'understand the fundamentals of Screenplay writing, acting, cinematography as well as video editing and sound recording'. The course is designed to meet the advanced and professional level standards of the film and TV industry. If candidates is not shortlisted in  the AAFT University's entrance exam (AAFT Global Exam) then the university refund the registration fee INR 1,600, paid by the candidate after deduction of INR 600 for the application form.  AAFT Global Exam is an online aptitude test conducted by the university followed by a personal interview from the AAFT Expert Desk (telephonic/video-conference/direct).
