Placements should be improved.
Placements: As of now, the placements in our college are very low. Our senior got placed in CTRI Rajahmundry. While some SEED companies are approaching, the placements are not up to the mark. Out of 160 members, nearly 3 to 4 are getting placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, library, and digital library are well-maintained. The collection of reference books in the library is good. The mess is average. Wi-Fi is available in the departments, but recently mobile phones have not been allowed into the college during working hours.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and available to clarify students' doubts. The curriculum is very relevant, with equal importance given to practical components. The labs are not well-maintained, but the fieldwork is good. Semester exams are moderately difficult, covering the whole syllabus.
Other: B.Sc. Hons Agriculture is a very good course with good future scope, but recently, because of the increased student count, the placements are less. Government scholarships are available, and they give good importance to sports in the state.

B.Sc.(Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2028
Offered by Sbvr Agriculture College
3.6

Peaceful campus, good academics, supportive teachers, but placements need more improvement.
Placements: Placement opportunities at SBVR are improving but still have a long way to go. Around 60% of students manage to get placed. The highest package is around ₹4-5 LPA, with the average close to ₹3 LPA, and entry-level jobs starting at ₹1.8 LPA. Recruiters are mainly agri-input companies, SEED firms, fertilizer companies, and NGOs. Internships are common, with students getting exposure at KVKs, SEED companies, and farms. Typical job roles include field officer, sales/marketing, research trainee, and project assistant.
Infrastructure: The campus has functional classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and a good library. Hostel facilities are clean and simple. Mess food is average but manageable, and the canteen is limited. Medical help is available. Sports facilities exist, though they could definitely be upgraded with better equipment.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified, approachable, and supportive. The curriculum is updated and relevant to agriculture, but there’s still more focus on theory than practical industry exposure. Exams are moderately tough, but most students clear them without much stress. The pass rate is usually above 85%.
Other: I chose agriculture here because I wanted to prepare for research and government careers. The best parts are supportive faculty, practical learning, and scholarships. Areas needing improvement are placements and stronger ties with the industry.

Not satisfied, I expected my college life to be good, but this didn't meet my expectations.
Placements: There are no placements, I'm not going to give a negative review it's a good college but it is very strict there are very few programmes. I wished the classrooms were bigger and lastly the teaching is good but the hostel and seniors are a bit scary based on my experience.
Infrastructure: The library is very small, whereas the canteen is not present in the college, and there is not enough space on the ground. The hostel is decent. They conduct sports and dance with the other branches they get pretty competitive. I found that a bit fun, and overall it's a nice experience.
Faculty: Semester exams are conducted 110 days after the last date of registration, and there is only one mid-term. They follow the ICAR grading system. Mid marks should be more than 25, and semester exam marks should be more than 50 to pass, and attendance also carries marks.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in agriculture but I soon came to regret it's my opinion solely.

I chose agriculture to build a career in research.
Placements: Placements here are okay, but not very strong yet. Around 60–65% of students get placed. The highest packages can reach 45 LPA, the average is around 3 LPA, and entry-level roles start near 1.8 LPA. Recruiters include agri-input companies, SEED and fertilizer firms, and NGOs. Internships are available for most students, mainly with KVKs, SEED companies, and local agri-based organizations. Typical roles are field officer, sales/marketing executive, research trainee, and NGO project associate.
Infrastructure: The campus has good classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. Hostels are clean and basic. Mess food is decent, and the canteen is simple. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are offered, but the equipment and variety could be better, and the food quality should improve.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, qualified, and approachable. The curriculum covers essential agriculture topics but leans more towards theory than industry exposure. Exams are moderately tough. Most students pass comfortably. The pass percentage is generally above 85%.
Other: Campus life is calm yet lively during cultural events and fests. Students are friendly, and the surroundings are peaceful, though connectivity could improve. Extracurriculars are available but limited.

One stop for Dr NTR College of Agricultural Engineering.
Placements: The major hiring companies in this college are Mahindra, Tafe, and Dhan Foundation. Out of 60 batches, 10 got placed in Mahindra and Tafe, 20 in Dhan, and rest of prepared for competitive exams like GATE or CAT. The salary packages offered by Mahindra and Tafe are almost 6 LPA and Dhan offered a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is definitely the best part of it, with old buildings and new ones smaller than that of my high schools. But, facilities provided are top-notch, with laboratories equipped with all needful equipment, medical facilities on campus, and more. There is a cricket cum soccer field, one basketball court, three volleyball courts, and three badminton courts.
Faculty: Most faculty members are IITians, so no need to worry about studies. Professors and assistant professors provided ample insights and have enough experience to give an immerse experience for the studies. Three exams per semester, one mid, one final practical, and one final theory. About 50% marks are required to pass exams.
