B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2028

Review of Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology.
Placements: This college is good in terms of studies and practical skills. The faculty members are very helpful. This college has been awarded NAAC A+ accreditation and is the first agriculture university to achieve this. Regarding co-curricular activities, they encourage students to participate and offer various internship opportunities. The highest placement this year was 10 Lacs per annum. There are 200 students in my batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by this college are satisfactory. They have labs and take us to the fields for practical sessions. They utilize practical methods to enhance understanding. If you want to study, there’s a library open 24/7 and another library that stays open until 8 p.m. The college also has sports facilities and offers opportunities for students interested in sports. They also have Ncc; interested students can join for their personal development.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty members, they are very helpful and friendly. They provide notes very timely. They are very interactive and used to hold interaction sessions to clear doubts and to make us understand the topics. They make us things understand by playing games, talking, and explaining very thoroughly. The current curriculum is very relevant and hence the students to grow. Semester exams are not as difficult. The pass percentage of students is around 98%.
Other: This course provides better job opportunities. Events and co-curricular activities are held, and scholarships are given.

The infrastructure is good, the environment is peaceful, but campus life is boring.
Placements: There are not many placement opportunities here. Even if there were more, most students would not take them because they prefer to pursue JRF and higher studies, while the remaining ones focus on preparing for government exams. MBA students benefit from placements, with companies like Reliance coming forward. Packages are around 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very large, and there is a central lawn. There are two sets of halls, with classes held in the new lecture hall, which is equipped with a smart board and a podium. Fans are available, but in summer, it can be a bit difficult to sit in the classroom as the fans don't provide much relief. Wi-Fi facility is available only in the library. Hostels are okay. The new hostels have western toilets, while the old ones have Indian toilets. Electricity is available, though it goes out for about 1 hour daily.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful. All of them are qualified and knowledgeable, but only a few are approachable and helpful. The course curriculum consists of agriculture-related content only. Some practices are irrelevant to the course, but they are manageable. The course does not make you industry-ready, and it doesn't provide much experience or exposure. There are two exams per semester one mid-term and one final. They are not very difficult, and while it's easy to pass, you won't score too high. Marks are average only.
Other: My batch consists of 160 students, 130 boys and 30 girls. Our junior batch has around 200 students. Since classes are large, it's manageable. I chose this course because it was the best option after NEET for bio students. There are no events or activities conducted here, and campus life is too boring to survive. Only fresher and farewell events are held, and those are in the auditorium. Students wear uniforms, so it's not very exciting. There aren't many extracurricular activities. The college is more focused on academics, making it ideal for those who are heavily focused on studies people.

The university is good with all facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The top reputed recruiting companies are Dayal, Syngenta, Adama, and UPL. These companies offer placements as sales manager, executive manager, and TM.
Infrastructure: In this university, Wi-Fi is available in the department and library area. Labs are well-equipped. The classrooms are hi-tech, and digital boards are available in classrooms. Medical facilities are available on campus. Mess, sports and canteen facilities are available. Annual games are held every year in summer.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and supportive. Education quality is amazing. This is possible with hi-tech classes and digital education system. The semester exam system is followed here, and exams are moderate to high quality. The passing percentage is 95%+. In this university, the curriculum followed is of 5th dean.
Other: I am interested in agriculture, so I chose this course. This course provides good and base knowledge of real rural life, and what's the problem faced by the farmers and how to produce food.

Best university for qualifying government competitive exams with good environment.
Placements: This university basically selects limited students based on their ranking in the entrance exam and does have limited seats one of the best course of this university is B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture Veterinary students get good placements and agriculture course is good for writing competitive exams such as for pcs, UPSC and other government. Exams also.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good with infrastructure and it has an environment of proper studying as it's a quite quiet university full of studies, sports and many events We have Library, sports ground, canteen medical facilities which is accessible to all students studying here as students from different country and states come here to study and here is also an international hostel for international students.
Faculty: Faculty is actually very good, each and every professor here is a well qualified faculty with a lot of experiences and we have proper classes running throughout the time and according to 6th Dean community we have different pattern of writing exam as it includes quiz, subjective and practical exams during mid terms and end seems and questions are know where out of this syllabus which has been covered during the lectures taken by the professors. Students here easily pass their semester exams as its not hard exam and can be achieved good marks if studied properly.
Other: I choose B.Sc. honours agriculture as it provides diverse scope for me to pursue you after the graduation as it is very beneficial for appearing in competitive government exams and with proper studies happening in the scores this university also provides events and connectivity and it is having a good and very quite campus surroundings its environment is very quite as one can study very easily and here every student gets scholarship around 40k per year and it increases every year as you cross each session of your graduation and it also provides with a lot of extra curricular activities.

It is a good place for learning, especially when you want to avoid distractions.
Placements: B.Sc. Agriculture is a degree where one definitely goes for higher studies. Around 50 to 60 students qualified for JRF. Out of the students who appeared for placements, around 70% got placed. The maximum salary package is Rs. 35,000 per month to Rs. 40,000 per month. Local agro-based companies and top marketing companies arrive for campus placements.
Infrastructure: Every department has separate labs. Experiments are organised in small groups of students for better understanding. The hostel is average and comfortable. A separate hostel is allotted for every batch. The mess is clean and hygienic. Diets are decided by students themselves.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-versed, knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful. The latest curriculum is followed by ICAR, which is decided by the Dean committee. Each semester has around 10 subjects. Credit-based time is allotted for classes. Learning is based on practical experience.

Value for money and average university with a good environment.
Placements: 48 percent of students are placed in 2023 and 46 percent in 2024. The median package is around 6.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance and Syngenta. Many seed and fertilizer companies visited, but the chances are very rare. For placement, you must opt for Agricultural Business Management for good placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for all the departments is extraordinary. Labs, practical fields, and the agronomy farm are well maintained. Wi-Fi is available only in the library, not in classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and have a capacity of 200+ students. Hostels have average rooms. The canteen has limited snacks, and mess food is good, but the diet costs 55 Rupees per diet.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced in their core subjects. Most teachers have 10+ years of experience, and their teaching is great. The curriculum is good because it provides exposure to the rural network, as well as developed technologies in the agricultural field. The semester exams have average papers, and the pass percentage is a minimum of 50 percent.
Other: Agriculture is the field that connects you directly to society and rural people, and you can help them by developing any technology for them. The government must focus on improving the agricultural sector by communicating with the banks. There are many cultural events celebrated here like Birsa Munda Jayanti, Independence Day, and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s birthday. The campus is connected directly to the 50 km NH from Ayodhya Dham Station. You can reach here by railway as well as by flight to Ayodhya Cant or Ayodhya Dham. Here you can avail yourself of the market like Kumarganj.
