All the latest updates regarding AIIMS Patna admissions are as follows:
- The NEET UG 2026 exam has concluded for admission to the MBBS, BDS, and other courses. The results and counselling schedule will be released by the 3rd week of May 2026.
- The INI CET July 2026 registration portal is now inactive for admission to the MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM/ MCh courses. The INI CET 2026 exam for the July session is scheduled for May 16, 2026.
- The AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 registration last date has been extended to May 10, 2026, for admission to the MSc course. Further, the exam is going to be held on June 20, 2026.
- The AIIMS BSc (Hons) Nursing 2026 application portal will now remain open till May 10 2026, (5 PM) for admission to the BSc(Hons) Nursing course. The exam is going to be conducted on June 27, 2026.
- The NEET MDS 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the MDS course. The result for the same will be announced by June 2, 2026.
- The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.
- The JEE Advanced 2026 application forms are closed for admission to the BE/BTech course. The JEE Advanced exam 2026 will be conducted on May 17, 2026.

AIIMS Patna Admission Process 2025
AIIMS Patna admission process 2025 is entrance-based. AIIMS Patna offers UG, PG and Super Specialty programmes in the stream of Medical and Nursing. These programmes includes MBBS, MD, MS, MDS, DM, MCh, BSc and MSc etc.
For AIIMS Patna MBBS admission, the applicant must qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and has replaced all other undergraduate medical entrance tests in India. AIIMS Patna PG admission is based on a valid INICET score. Earlier, it was done on the basis of NEET PG scores. MBBS is the flagship programme of AIIMS Patna.

Steps for AIIMS Patna Admission Process 2025
AIIMS Patna admission process varies depending on programmes. For Medical UG (MBBS), candidates are need to apply on the official website of NEET; while for Medical PG courses, application process can be completed on the website of INI CET. The admission will be granted on the basis of entrance exam score for the respective course

AIIMS Patna BSc (Hons) Nursing admission is conducted in online mode, and is entrance-based. The duration of BSc programme is four years, excluding six months of compulsory rotating internship. For BSc admission, the candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. Final admission to AIIMS Patna BSc Nursing (H) is based on the scores obtained in AIIMS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam.

AIIMS Patna INI CET cutoff 2026 was released for various courses, like MD, MCh, MDS, and MS, for multiple All India categories. In the last round, the cutoff varied from 99 to 15817 for the General AI category, wherein MD in Radiodiagnosis was the most difficult course for admission.
