AISECT University select students based on academic merit and performance in AJEE for the BSc programme. It can be compulsory for all the aspirants to appear for the entrance test. However, for direct admissions, the entrance test may not be compulsory. For selection, students must also be Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised university. 

The eligibility and selection criteria is slightly different for the MSc in Agriculture course of AISECT University. Aspirants with a valid BSc or equivalent degree from a recognised university passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply. The applicants must hold the relevant documents or pass certificates as well during the form filling and admission confirmation.
