Alagappa University offers a full-time two-year MSc programme in different disciplines. Admission to MSc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Microbiology) programmes is done basis the entrance exam (50% weightage) and marks obtained in the qualifying examination (50% weightage) whereas admission to the MSc (Biotechnology) course is done basis of entrance test and interview marks. - Admission to the remaining MSc programmes is done basis only on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The eligibility and more details of the course is given below:

Placements: The rate of occupancy is 87 percent. The top package available is 19 LPA. The typical package provided is 10 LPA, while the lowest package available is 2 LPA. Leading recruitment firms include ZSI, WII, IFS, and others. Approximately 76 percent of students obtained internships across different sectors. The leading positions available include Ecologist, Marine Biologist, and others.
Infrastructure: In the center, there is a library, and each department has its area. Wi-Fi connections and computer centers are also accessible. There are 7 hostels for guys and three for girls. For first-year males, there are no AC hostels, and the hostels are only habitable. Still by the second year, both AC and non-AC options are available.
Faculty: The faculty merits all recognition. The lectures provide a wealth of information, and the teachers are highly skilled and well-informed. They enhance course materials' relevance by including practical and real-world content, better preparing students for the workforce. The challenge of the exams varies with the teacher, but they tend to be quite manageable with adequate preparation. The rate of passing exceeds 50 percent.

Overall, best university for M.Sc. in chemistry course.
Placements: University placement rate is around 83%. The highest package is 19 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is around 12 LPA. Top recruiters are Bigtec Labs, Biocon, Piramal Pharma Ltd, etc. It has about 80% internship placement. The higher-level roles offered are pharmaceutical scientist, researcher, and many more.
Infrastructure: The apparatus is sufficient. Although several research laboratories require repair. The classrooms are in good shape, and the seats are well-furnished. While Wi-Fi is offered in hotels, it is not available in classrooms. The library is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and it offers nearly all of the literature that students require. As a daily professor, I am unable to comment on hostels.
Faculty: The knowledgeable and helpful faculty members always have something fresh to teach us. To prepare paint, we have conducted numerous laboratory tests. In their final year, faculty members are required to do a painting project that contributes from an industry perspective. 86% of pupils have passed the intermediate-level semester exams.

Recommended for students who are able to pay moderate fee.
Placements: Some of the private sectors like Biocon, Arcadis, and Ranbaxy are usually pick profile candidates for their annual session with maximum pay. They help us to gain challenging roles in various organisations and research centres. The least pay offered by the sector would be 2.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: This is one of the top universities in Karaikudi which has highlighted features and performances that are quickly noticeable from their college website. Hostellers are levied with reasonable charges for accommodation as well as food expenses. Tuition fees vary from one person to another based on their previous records and their history.
Faculty: Teachers have sufficient knowledge and are able to cope up students with such knowledge. Slighter adjustments are made in the notes and materials collected from the previous batches and distributed to the student for studying. Teachers sometimes paid attention to the students' requirements.

Overall, the best university for the M.Sc. in Chemistry (Nanoscience & Technology) course.
Placements: 90% of students took our course as most were opting for professional courses, leading to many enrollments. The highest package offered was around 19 LPA, the lowest was around 7 LPA, and the average package was 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Wockhardt, Biocon, Kemio Solutions, etc. Around 70% of students received internships through the course. The top roles offered were lab technician, lab chemist, and more.
Infrastructure: Compared to other universities, the rooms were not that big. If you are planning to attend the university purely for infrastructure reasons, then this is not the right university. The law university is great, recently built, and has excellent central air conditioning. The campus is being renovated, it may take more than 2–3 years, but the courses are fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Professors at the university are always friendly with the students, both professionally and personally. The cutoff percentage was not set too high, making it easier for everyone to get good grades due to the curriculum. The university supports students through programs, seminars, and individual mentoring to help them decide their career path. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass rate is 73%.

Overall best university for M.Sc. In Botany Course.
Placements: Nearly 93% of the students at our university have been placed. 25 LPA is the highest salary that is offered. The average pay offered falls between 6 and 17 LPA, with a minimum of 7 LPA. Prominent hiring firms visit our campus, including Syngenta India, FRI, ICFRE, and others. Nearly 90% of pupils secure internships. Higher-level positions such as horticulturist and plant taxonomist are available.
Infrastructure: Our university has good infrastructure in the form of a hostel and sports ground. It is spread over an area of almost 50 acres. Each classroom is air-conditioned and has good cafeterias and medical facilities. There are huge grounds for cricket. Alagappa University also has a great football facility. They also have a basketball court and many indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are open to help but sometimes don't easily find the time to ask for doubts. The teachers are qualified, but some teachers are not so familiar with Botany. The course fully prepares us for jobs. Semester exams are fairly moderate if we have studied well. The pass rate is over 76%.

A decent college to get admission.
Placements: 73% percent of students have found solid careers. The typical bundle, as far as I'm aware, falls between 10 LPA and 22 LPA, whereas the biggest package was approximately 35 LPA. Morgan Stanley, Canara Bank, Mercer, and others among the top recruiters. An internship was chosen by about 70% of the students. Investment banker, portfolio manager, and so forth are the most prestigious positions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is in good working order. Facilities in the hostel and classroom are first-rate. The main engine and auxiliary engine are among the many pieces of equipment available on the huge shipping campus. Foreign writers' publications are bound in the college library, and projectors are used in courses to show movies.
Faculty: Tutors are knowledgeable and kind. It's incredible how they communicate. We need some practice, but we are prepared for industry-related tasks. My college semester tests are incredibly challenging, and the faculty is highly strict. In addition to being one of my favorites in college, my department is also extremely rigid.

There is not a B.Tech particular in Computer Science & Cyber Security at Alagappa University, but, Alagappa University does offer a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a cutoff will be usually expected to be in a range between 5,000 to 10,000 through TNEA which is Tamil Nadu Engineering
