Yes, AUAT or Aliah University Admission Test is required for BTech at Aliah University -City Campus (Park Circus). The university conducts the Aliah University, Kolkata in order to offer students admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses offered by the university. AUAT is conducted offline (pen and paper test) and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University in order to fill out the AUAT application forms.

The AUAT marking scheme is as such that for every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking. The marking scheme is as mentioned below:

No, reserved category candidates do not get a concession on the application fee of AUAT. However, the AUAT application fee differ for men and women. Male candidates have to pay INR 500 and females have to pay INR 300 for a single course. While for every additional course they have to pay INR 250 and INR 150 extra respectively.

If you are unable to download your AUAT admit card, you must contact the university. Next, check about the same. It may be possible that your application must not have processed successfully. 

Along with the AUAT admit card, candidates also need to carry a valid identity proof. Candidates are advised to carefully examine the AUAT admit card. If candidate find any discrepancy in the AUAT admit card, they are suggested to immediately inform the AUAT office.

AUAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried at AUAT allotted exam venue. No hard copy of AUAT admit card will be sent to the respective candidate. Students can only download AUAT admit card by entering their application ID number and date of birth.

AUAT exam is conducted online and candidates from any location can appear for the exam. Some of the important topics covered under MJMC will be on English (concept of Language and Literature), Fundamentals of Journalism & Mass Communication having its role as the fourth pillar of Indian Democracy, Sports and Cinema. Meanwhile, MCA course will comprise of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Problem Solving Questions, Discrete Quantitative Analysis and Basic Mathematics.

Candidates interested to pursue B.Tech and BCA course through AUAT are required to know about various important topics related to the exam. Notably, candidates applying for the B.Tech and BCA course through AUAT will be required to study Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The Aliah University in Kolkata administers the Aliah University Admission Test to candidates seeking admission to any of the university's undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate programmes. In order to pursue BSc / Integrated 5 years, candidate should have the relevant subjects and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60%. For BSc (Nursing) (4 years) course, candidate should have secured a minimum 45% in 10+2 and should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects taken in 10+2 and for BBA, candidates should done 10+2 with the relevant subjects and should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.
