AUAT 2023 exam schedule is yet to be announced by Aliah University (AU). Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) 2023 exam, application, admit card, result date will be announced on the official website of Aliah University- aliah.ac.in.

The University level Common entrance exam is held to provide admission to B.Tech, BA, B.Sc Nursing, B.Ed, BCA, B.Sc, Integrated BBA-MBA, MA, M.Sc, MA in Education, MCA, M.Tech, LLM, Lateral Entry to B.Tech courses.

What is AUAT?

The Aliah University Admission Test is conducted by the Aliah University, Kolkata in order to offer students admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses offered by the university. AUAT is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test) and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University in order to fill the AUAT application forms.

AUAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the AUAT 2023 exam need to firstly meet the eligibility criteria as set by the Aliah University. Candidates who are found ineligible at any time of admission, will not be allowed to proceed further in the process. The eligibility criteria for each programme is different for each course offered by the university. The AUAT eligibility criteria as set by the university is as follows:

The candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and should have the relevant subjects.

BTech / Integrated 5 -years

The candidates should have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have secured a minimum of 60%.

BSc / Integrated 5 years

The candidate should have the relevant subjects and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60%.

BSc (Nursing) (4 years)

The candidate should have secured a minimum 45% in 10+2 and should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects taken in 10+2.

BBA

The candidate should done 10+2 with the relevant subjects and should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

Integrated 5 years – BA/MA in English

The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

MCA

The candidate should have pursued BSc (H) in Maths / BSc. The candidates also should have secured a minimum of 45%.

AUAT 2023 Admission Process

Step 1: Registration

The candidate will firstly have to register online on the official website of Aliah University in order to apply for the AUAT 2023 exam. The candidate will have to visit the Aliah University website and register themselves. The candidate will have to mention the required details in order to create a login ID and password. Once the details are entered, the candidate can proceed to fill the application form.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

The candidate can download the application form from the official website of Aliah University or can purchase the application form from the university in person as well. The candidate will have to fill the required information such as personal and academic details. Once all the details are filled, the candidate will have to upload the required documents (photograph & signature) and submit the form along with the application fee. Once the candidate has submitted the form, the aspirant has successfully applied for AUAT 2023.

Step 3: Admit Card

Candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the AUAT 2023 application form, will have to download their admit card from the official website of Aliah University. The candidate will have to login by entering their application form number and date of birth in order to download the AUAT admit card. Candidates are advised that the university will not send the admit card and the aspirant will have to download the AUAT admit card.

Step 4: Appear for AUAT exam

Candidates will then have to appear for the AUAT exam which is in offline mode (pen and paper test). Candidates are advised to go through the AUAT exam pattern, marking scheme and AUAT syllabus in order to ace the exam. It is mandatory for the candidate to carry their respective AUAT admit card to the allotted exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam if found without the admit card.

Step 5: AUAT Result

The AUAT results are declared in the form of rank list which is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the AUAT exam. Merit lists will be released after the AUAT results have been announced. Candidates can view the AUAT results on the official website of the university once released.

Step 6: E-Counselling

Candidates’ names which are mentioned in the merit list will have to register themselves via e-counselling. The candidate will have to enter their application ID number and date of birth in order to login. The candidate will have to select the programs as per the preference of admission and pay a counselling fee. Once all formalities have been completed online, the candidate will have to appear in person for the counselling session at the university. The dates will be released online.

AUAT 2023 Exam Centres

The AUAT 2023 exam centres have not been released yet, however, candidates can refer to the 2019 AUAT exam centres which were conducted for UG programmes except BSc Nursing and BEd programme.

Q. Where can I get previous years questions for AUAT MTech exam?

A. Aliah University has not yet released the schedule of the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) exam. But candidates preparing for the upcoming exam can refer to the previous years question papers and boost their preparations. In order to check and download, the previous year question papers, candidates need to visit the official website of Aliah University and download the papers. The official website of Aliah University is - aliah.ac.in.

Q. Is the application available in offline mode?

A. Aliah University is yet to release the application form for AUAT 2023. Once released, eligible and interested candidates will be able to download the AUAT application form by visiting the official website of Aliah University. Candidates can either download the application form from the official website of Aliah University or can purchase the application form from the university as well.

Q. Can I pursue nursing at Aliah University?

A. Yes. The Aliah University offers candidates Nursing courses at the university. There are number of courses offered at Aliah University through AUAT. Some of the popular courses are BA in various subjects, BTech / Integrated 5 -years, BSc / Integrated 5 years, BSc (Nursing) (4 years), BBA, Integrated 5 years – BA/MA in English, MCA.

Q. How can I check the AUAT result?

A. Candidates who have appeared for the AUAT exam, will be able to check their results by visiting the official websites of the exam. AUAT results are declared in the form of merit lists. Candidates who have quailed the AUAT exam will appear on the list on the official website of the university.  Candidates can check the AUAT 2023 results through the following steps:
  • The candidate has to visit the official website of Alaih University to check the result.
  • On visiting the homepage of Alaih University, the candidate will have to click on the ‘AUAT 2023’ link which will be present at the top of the page.
  • On clicking the link, the candidate will be directed to a new page on the browser, where they will have to click on the link ‘AUAT 2023 Results’.
  • A list will be published on the website where the candidate can identify the course applied for and check the result. For PG and BEd results, the candidate will have to select the course applied for to check the merit list.
  • The candidate has to select the course and click on view.

Q. Is the AUAT only in MCQs?

A. The question papers of AUAT are answered in MCQ (multiple choice questions) format exept for BA (Hons) / MA in English, Arabic, Bengali and MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. Candidates can check the below mentioned AUAT exam pattern for more details:
