AUAT result declared for all PG courses. AUAT counselling 2025 schedule will be released soon. Based on the results, the university will publish seat allotment lists for different courses on its official website. Aliah University conducts the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) annually for admissions to UG, PG, Nursing, BEd and 5-year integrated courses. The applications for the entrance test started on March 10, 2025. The AUAT application deadline was extended to May 5, 2025, for UG programmes except for the 4-year BSc in Nursing, and May 30, 2025, for all PG programmes (including 4-year BSc in Nursing and 2-year BEd programmes). Earlier, it was April 20, 2025. The AUAT application form is available on the official website- aliah.ac.in. Along with the application form, the university has also released the information brochure for this year's admission cycle. According to the AUAT 2025 information brochure, AUAT 2025 for UG programmes was conducted on May 24 and May 25, 2025. AUAT admit cards will also be released on the official website. What is AUAT?

The Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) is conducted by Aliah University, Kolkata. It is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at this renowned university. The AUAT is an offline test (pen-and-paper test). Examinees are given 2 hours to take this entrance exam. Candidates must register online on the official website of Aliah University to fill out the AUAT application forms.

AUAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who fulfil the AUAT eligibility criteria for various programmes will be able to fill out the AUAT 2025 application form. The eligibility requirements for some popular courses offered through AUAT are mentioned in the table below.

The candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and should have the relevant subjects.

BTech/ Integrated 5 -years

The candidates should have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have secured a minimum of 60%.

BSc/ Integrated 5 years

The candidate should have the relevant subjects and should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60%.

BSc (Nursing) (4 years)

The candidate should have secured a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects taken in 10+2.

BBA

The candidate should done 10+2 with the relevant subjects and should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

Integrated 5 years – BA/ MA in English

The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

MCA

The candidate should have pursued a BSc (H) in Maths/ BSc. The candidates also should have secured a minimum of 45%.

AUAT 2025 Admission Process

The AUAT admission process is explained in the steps mentioned below. 

Step 1: Registration

The candidate will first have to register online on the official website of Aliah University in order to apply for the AUAT 2025 exam. The candidate will have to mention the required details in order to create a login ID and password. Once the details are entered, the candidate can proceed to fill out the AUAT 2025 application form.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

The candidate can fill the application form on the official website of Aliah University. The candidate will have to fill in the required information such as personal and academic details. Once all the details are filled, the candidate will have to upload the required documents (photograph & signature) and submit the form along with the application fee. Once the candidate has submitted the form, the aspirant has successfully applied for AUAT 2025.

Step 3: Admit Card

Candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the AUAT 2025 application form, will have to download their admit card from the official website of Aliah University. The candidate will have to log in by entering their application form number and date of birth in order to download the AUAT admit card. Candidates are advised that the university will not send the admit card and the aspirant will have to download the AUAT admit card.

Step 4: Appear for AUAT exam

Candidates will then have to appear for the AUAT exam which is in offline mode (pen and paper test). Candidates are advised to go through the AUAT exam pattern, marking scheme and AUAT syllabus in order to ace the exam. It is mandatory for the candidate to carry their respective AUAT admit card to the allotted exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam if found without the admit card.

Step 5: AUAT Result

The AUAT results are declared in the form of a rank list which is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the AUAT exam. Merit lists will be released after the AUAT results have been announced. Candidates can view the AUAT results on the official website of the university once released.

Step 6: E-Counselling

Candidates’ names which are mentioned in the merit list will have to register themselves via e-counselling. The candidate will have to enter their application ID number and date of birth in order to log in. The candidate will have to select the programs as per the preference of admission and pay a counselling fee. Once all formalities have been completed online, the candidate will have to appear in person for the counselling session at the university. The dates will be released online.

No, reserved category candidates do not get a concession on the application fee of AUAT. However, the AUAT application fee differ for men and women. Male candidates have to pay INR 500 and females have to pay INR 300 for a single course. While for every additional course they have to pay INR 250 and INR 150 extra respectively.

AUAT 2025 Admit Card

The exam body releases the AUAT admit card for successful applicants. The admit cards will be published for UG and PG courses separately. Applicants have to log in using their usernames and passwords to access and download their admit cards.  

Steps to Download the AUAT Admit Card

The steps to download the AUAT 2025 admit card are provided below. 

  • Visit the official website.
  • Find the link ‘AUAT 2025’ on the homepage.
  • Look for the AUAT 2025 admit card link for UG/ PG programmes and click on the download button provided against it (link often available inside the admit card notice).
  • You will be redirected to a new page, enter your username and password.
  • Click on the login button. 
  • Your admit card will be displayed on the screen, download and take at least two printouts. 

The AUAT admit card is an important document. It is mandatory to carry this document to the exam centres; without it, applicants won't be allowed to take the exam. It is also advised that the candidates preserve their AUAT admit cards until the entire admission process has concluded.

AUAT Merit List 2025

Once the AUAT results are announced, the exam conducting body i.e., Aliah University releases the merit lists on the official website of the exam. Notably, the AUAT merit list is prepared on the basis of the performance of the students in the AUAT exam. However, in the case of a tie even after the evaluation, the ranks will be decided by the tie-breaker mechanism as prescribed by the varsity.
