What is AUAT?
The Aliah University Admission Test, also known as AUAT, is held by Aliah University, Kolkata, itself. This entrance test is for getting admission into lots of different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at this renowned university. The AUAT is an offline test, meaning it's done with a pen-and-paper test. The registered will be given exactly 2 hours to complete this AUAT entrance exam. AUAT 2026 Admission Process

Registration
Register yourself on the official website of Aliah University for AUAT 2026. Fill some basic details to make your login ID and password. Make sure the details you typed are right before going next.
Fill the Application Form
Fill the AUAT form online after registration. Write your personal and academic information properly. Upload all the asked documents and then pay the application fee. Once everything is filled and submitted, AUAT application is completed. Just check once if you uploaded things correctly before you close it.
Admit Card
Students who have successfully filled and submitted the AUAT 2026 application form can download their admit card from the official website of Aliah University. You can log in by entering their application form number and date of birth in order to download the AUAT admit card. Candidates are advised that the university will not send the admit card and the aspirant will have to download the AUAT admit card.

Appear for AUAT exam
Candidates will then have to appear for the AUAT exam which is in offline mode. Candidates are advised to go through the AUAT exam pattern, marking scheme, and AUAT syllabus to ace the exam. It is mandatory for the candidate to carry their respective AUAT admit card to the allotted exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam if found without the admit card.
AUAT Result
AUAT results are declared in the form of a rank list, which is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the AUAT exam. Merit lists will be released after the AUAT results have been announced. Candidates can view the AUAT results on the official website of the university once released.

E-Counselling
Candidates’ names that are mentioned in the merit list will have to register themselves via e-counselling. The candidate will have to enter their application ID number and date of birth in order to log in. The candidate will have to select the programs according to their admission and pay a counselling fee. Once all formalities have been completed online, the candidate will have to appear in person for the counselling session at the university. The dates will be released online.

No, reserved category candidates do not get a concession on the application fee of AUAT. However, the AUAT application fee differ for men and women. Male candidates have to pay INR 500 and females have to pay INR 300 for a single course. While for every additional course they have to pay INR 250 and INR 150 extra respectively.

How to Download the Admit Card for the AUAT
Below are the instructions for downloading the AUAT 2026 admission card. Go to the official website.
- Locate the "AUAT 2026" link on the homepage.
- For UG and PG programs, locate the AUAT 2026 admission card link and click the download button next to it (the link is sometimes included inside the admit card announcement).
- You will be taken to a new page where you must input your password and username.
- Press the "Login" button.
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen, download and take at least two printouts.
The AUAT admit card is an important document. It is mandatory to carry this document to the exam centres; without it, applicants won't be allowed to take the exam. It is also advised that the candidates preserve their AUAT admit cards until the entire admission process has concluded.
