There is no upper age limit for candidates to get admission to LLM programme through ACLAT. They only need to meet the ACLAT eligibility criteria, crack the entrance and obtain marks equal to or greater than the ACLAT cutoff for admission.

Why is the ACLAT exam conducted?

The ACLAT exam is required for admission to law courses. This exam is conducted by the Alliance University. 1. The ACLAT is exclusively for admission to the LL. M. course at a university. 2. However, it is not recommended for all ACLAT candidates to answer all questions if they do not know the answer of some questions because there is no negative marking scheme in the ACLAT exam. There will be a deduction of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer. The option of marking for review is also available for questions in the ACLAT question paper. What are the weightage of sections in ACLAT 2026 Exam?
